As previously reported, MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine announced at the conclusion of the band's headlining performance in Buenos Aires, Argentina on October 9 that the group's current lineup — which includes bassist James MacDonough, drummer Shawn Drover (EIDOLON) and guitarist Glen Drover (EIDOLON) — will continue to record and tour under the name MEGADETH.
MEGADETH recently completed a South American tour in support of "The System Has Failed", which came out in September 2004. The latest MEGADETH release, "Greatest Hits: Back to the Start" (Capitol),entered the Billboard chart at No. 65.
